Services We Offer

1. Paper Shredding and Record Destruction

On-Site Service: We come to your site and shred your confidential documents right then and there.  The shredded material is then transported by our own vehicles to our 30,000 sq. ft. facility.

Off-Site Service:  We come to your site and load your confidential documents into our own vehicles for transport to our 30,000 sq. ft. facility.

Shredded material is then comingled with other recyclable paper of the same grade and compressed into solid bales.  The bales are then transferred to a carrier owned by a paper mill or its agents.  These particular paper mills , or their agents, have certified to us that they destroy these bales by then inserting them into a paper beater, treated with chemicals, dissolving, pulverizing, macerating and so physically transforming them in substance and in form so as to lose all identity as paper and eventually winding up as a heavy liquid mass.  All inks, writings, printings and impressions become eradicated and washed away in this "wet beater" process.

An officer of this corporation supervises this complete process until the material is shipped to a paper mill for final destruction.  Long Island Shredding and Record Destruction, Inc. is responsible for action taken by their employees and therefore can guarantee the confidentiality and destruction of the material assigned to Long Island Shredding and Record Destruction, Inc.  A Certificate of Destruction is available to you upon completion of all shredding jobs.

Shredding can be done as frequently as necessary.

If required, material can be locked in a safe container for storage.
